The Office of State Lands and Investments (OSLI) is responsible for leasing and maintenance of State Trust subsurface assets. OSLI manages approximately 3.9 million subsurface acres. Royalties and leasing income that is derived from managing these assets directly fund the beneficiaries of the Trust. Assets that are lease include: bentonite, coal, fossils, various precious metals and stones, oil and gas, rock and assorted minerals, trona, and uranium.
